Last updated: August 27, 2026. These are the rules for being part of GLIFT — written in plain language, not legalese.
GLIFT is for girls between 12 and 18 years old. By creating an account, you're confirming you're in that age range. If you're under 13, depending on the laws in your country, a parent or guardian may need to be involved in your signing up — please check what's required where you live, and ask a trusted adult if you're unsure.
You're responsible for keeping your account login safe and for what happens under your account. Don't share your password, and don't pretend to be someone else. You can update or correct your profile information at any time from your profile page.
GLIFT is a peer-to-peer space, and we want it to stay kind. When you use the site — the group chat, Skill Swap, Co-Founder Finder, Connect, the photo booth, or anything else — you agree to follow our Community Guidelines. The short version: be kind, no harassment or hate speech, don't share personal contact info publicly, don't spam, keep it your own work, and report anything that feels off. Every profile and chat has Block and Report buttons — please use them.
We can suspend or remove your account if you break these terms or the Community Guidelines — especially for bullying, hate speech, sexual harassment, or targeting someone for who they are. We'd rather give a warning first when we can, but serious harm is a hard no with zero warnings. You can also close your own account at any time; just email us or use the Report a concern page and we'll help.
GLIFT is a youth-led project built by a small team. We work hard to keep things running and safe, but we can't promise the site will always be available, bug-free, or perfectly moderated 24/7. You use GLIFT as-is. We're not liable for things like lost data, third-party content, or what other members post — that's why the Block and Report tools exist, and why we ask you to be careful about what you share.
As GLIFT grows, these terms might change. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For major changes — anything that meaningfully affects your rights or how your data is used — we'll do our best to flag it clearly, like a notice in the app or a heads-up email if we have your address. Keep an eye on this page so you stay in the loop.
